Besiktas Vs Bolton - Brought to you by Gazz Wood -

Every other Thursday night means UEFA Cup night at The House Of Trouser. Since The Worm is an avid supporter of Bolton Wanderers we always head on down to Walkabout to watch the game. This night The Trotters did our Worm proud by earning a creditable draw at Beskitas in Turkey. Watching the game with us, where Nathan and the new addition to LeedsMeUp, Ms. Gemma Surtees. After enjoying a couple of beverages in Walkabout, we sheened on down to HA!HA! However, The Worm had headed home after he still felt ill from the night before.  Nathan, Gemma and I, whilst over a Southern Comfort and Diet Coke, bitched about the course, talked about past loves and who we thought we would sleep with on the course. This conversation continued as we head for Call Lane. Our first stop, however, was just off the Lane itself.


We slipped into a new Brazilian restaurant (just off the Calls) and had one drink each, before being kicked out at eleven. I had an Old Turkey and Coke. Old Turkey, being the horrible replacement for Southern Comfort. You've read it here folks, don't drink it, it is foul.


We popped into Jake's Bar for a drink. Hot young ladies were shaking their booties to cool, relaxing tunes whilst I sat happily and watched (I said watched, not perved) them dance the night away. We shuffled across to Norman, which was equally busy. We found a quiet spot, however, in the corner. I by this point began to slowly fall asleep. Like James, I had gone out the night before and began to feel the day (and night) catching up with me.


Our last stop of the night was the ever buoyant BRB bar. Always a great atmosphere, not to loud, just loud enough so you can talk amongst yourselves instead of shouting. By the time we had got down to BRB, it was standing room only.



I don't mind standing up, as long as I've got a beer and some friendly faces around me. Overall, it was a good night. I only spent about £10 because I had spent near to £35 the previous night. All in all, well worth it.
