Profile: Jimmy Lock

One half (the bigger half) of the crime fighting, private investigating, brand solution providing duo, Lock & Load. Raised on the rough streets of East London, Jimmy started out the early stages of his life on the wrong side of the law. His crimes ranged from petty theft and public disturbances, to assaulting a police officer in an attempt to escape the scene of an armed robbery. Due to his age, and the likelihood of him getting into more trouble, the court offered Jimmy a choice when sentenced; either spend two years incarcerated in a juvenile prison, or serve in the British Army Reserves for four years.

After serving his country, Jimmy parted ways with the British Army at the age of 20 a changed man. With him he took military infantry training, specialising in weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, tracking and military planning/strategy. He then took his training to The Queen Mary University where he studied a BA(Hons) Degree in Advertising and Marketing for three years. Leaving with an Upper Second Class certification it appeared Jimmy was at last on a righteous path.

Six months later Jimmy was in a state of depression working for a recruitment consultancy in Liverpool Street, struggling to break into an advertising agency. Jimmy was in a serious mess and would often arrive at work late with a hangover, or in many instances still wasted. Then on the one occasion when Jimmy threw up on his desk, passed out and pissed his trousers his manager had no choice but to fire him with immediate affect. This was especially hard for her as she was sleeping with Jimmy... many times a week... usually at work.

Jimmy spent the next few weeks looking for work, downloading porn, watching episodes of Peep Show and finding old friends on Facebook. On a particularly dreary morning Jimmy logged into his email account to find a Facebook friend invite from his good university friend Gordon Load. Gordon had also left Jimmy the following message:

"Been a long time Lock, what you up to? I'm just back from America, it's a shitty place... Still interested in starting our own Ad Agency? I've got a few contacts and we can be off the ground in no time. Knowing you, you've probably started without me! Filthy Bastard!"

Two months later Jimmy and Gordon were swamped with work from clients eager to benefit from Lock & Load's impact in the advertising industry. With so much to get through, and so little time, the duo recruited a couple of sexy PAs. Suzy Rock and Kirsten Roll were hired from sexiness above experience as neither had previously worked as PAs. They were a pair of blonde and brunette bombshells with their own band, and were raking in YouTube hits by the thousands

Two months later Lock & Load realised how much of an error they had made hiring Rock & Roll. The girls had a knack for forgetting client’s details, taking extended lunch breaks and charging meals to the company. The shit metaphorically hit the fan after the girls were entrusted to lock up the office while Lock & Load attended an award show in which they had several nominations.

The following morning the duo arrived to find the office trashed, raided out and someone had even gone to the liberty of taking a shit where Jimmy's iMac used to be. The duo were duly enraged, but just as Gordon reached for his mobile phone to call the police, Jimmy stopped him and the duo walked over to Jimmy's desk holding their noses. Jimmy used a key to open the bottom of a concealed draw under his desk and revealed a video recording system. He had the whole incident on a hard drive, more than enough evidence for the police to capture the culprits, but Jimmy and Gordon both agreed to beat the living daylights out of Suzy Rock and Kirsten Roll, then catch the gang that trashed and raided their office.

And such began the crime-fighting endeavours of Lock & Load...
